Budget
Process & Deadlines:
Solvang School District fiscal calendar begins July 1st and ends June 30th of each year.
On or before July 1st, the District Board of Trustees adopts the district budget. Before the budget
is formally adopted, a public hearing is held in which the budget is presented. The proposed
budget must be available for inspection at least three days before the public hearing is held.
Interim budgets are prepared in December and March and must be approved by the
Board of Trustees, but no public hearing is required for the interims.

- Board of Trustees approved 2022-2023 Adopted Budget on June 15, 2022
- Board of Trustees approved 2022-2023 First Interim Budget on December 14, 2022
- Board of Trustees approved 2022-2023 Second Interim Budget on March 8, 2023
